My name is Joe Galizio, Rachel Juby was in touch with you regarding a children's book I wrote called "Don't Be Afraid."
I am trying to self publish the book and get the first run printed using Kickstarter. Any way you can help spread the word would be greatly appreciated. I would also be happy to help you in any way possible.
My goal is to get the book published, pay for art work and get the first run printed. (2000 books). Each person that pledges will get a copy, 500 books will be sold (to help pay for the 2nd run) and the rest will be donated to schools, and fire departments for distribution to kids.

Instinct, They run and hide, which often results in their death. If properly educated through the eyes and illustrations of this author, children will know These heavily equipped strangers are really there to save their lives. I am a parent of young children and We as parents have been told to tell them to run from strangers, trust no one outside the approved circle. This puts a new twist on an old reality. How do we teach who is safe and who is not? Kids need to know what Firemen and Rescue look like when they are geared up. I think this book is a great start.'

I had another interesting inquiry today. An EMT has written a children's book about Fire and Rescue. I think it is worthy of our attention. I was the first to donate for the cause. I hope you will follow. Even a $1 will make a difference.
